And I want to in tall it on the side of my console or somewhere but it has to have a constant power supply. If it turns on or off a bunch of times there is a chance it could blow up. It must be fused with a 2amp fuse... Does any of the cigeratte lighters have power all the time?
I ordered it with the piggyback quick charger and home charger...
The console outlet is full time power-thats where I plug mine in. That flashlight is indestructable-you'll love it. Had mine a few years now, hardly any paint left on it and still works great. Only problem Iv'e seen is the charger cord will fatigue at the charger end if left to bounce around in your vehicle.

That's good! The new ones are 350 lumen on high, figured I could use that in the house and hunting, etc. Strobe feature would be good if broken down etc.Did you mount yours or just leave it in the bottom of the console? I was thing about putting mine on the outside of the console but not sure?
Mine right now is residing in the side pocket on the passenger side of the console but your piggyback style charger won't fit there(I was given some extra single chargers from my tool supplier). I will be mounting mine in the console bin when I get some time after the holidays as I will prolly fab up a storage bin to compliment it as well when I find the time......... Still got a pile of stuff from my old truck in the garage that needs to go in.

Yeah I was looking at mine today also, I thought I would be able to mount it outside of the console but there just isn't room for it there. I guess mine will have to go in the console also. I just didn't want it laying on the bottom, maybe I can mount it on the side of the inside...
Wow, that thing is spendy. My mag lite Led does great banging around the bed next to my fifth wheel hitch.
You guys should look into running a power line from the 12v socket under the rear seat, driver side. Run it to the door pillar right behind the driver seat. Mount flashlight under where the top seat belt comes out of the pillar, right behind you left elbow somewhere.

Yeah it is but once you have the chargers you can buy more lights cheaper... I will look into that spot for mounting the light. I didn't know there was a cigarette lighter under back seat, thought they were all in the console?

.
The Mag LEDs are just as durable but its like comparing a bic to forest fire at night. And the Mag is a little akward in my front pocket.....

If you have a crew cab you got one. Mine gets used for passenger entertainment on road trips or I bury it with my stuff when solo so it don't work well for me there. If you do have a crew you could mount it to the back wall of the cab behind the seat as well.
FWIW- each of the 5 power points (lighter plugs) is fused individually. Check on the fuses page in your OM Pg. 316-319. I want to say they were 20 AMP, also they are located in the engine compartment fuse box, not the in-cab one. I blew 2 of them not realizing the a phone charger I had, had broken and shorted internally. They're a little pricey (for fuses) too. They are this style fuse. Here's a supplier- Fuses. They can be hard to find I found out- Some auto stores carry 'em others don't,
One under rear seat, driver side
One on back of center console
One inside the storage compartment in center console
Two on the dash
I wish I had a weatherproof one in the bed
I wish the 110VAC outlet was better quality and rated for higher output.
Also, there are nifty little lights and things powered by the USB plug you can get. I got a nice little spotlight at wal mart so I can see the cup holder areas when I'm driving at night.

So there is a cigeratte lighter under the drivers seat and under rear seat?
It's in the under seat storage tray. I think it has power all the time, I use it to charge my makita power tool batts. If I remember right, It works whether the truck is on or not.
