Oh yeah, I forgot about the front hanger operation there. Are you sure it won't be as tall? His truck only has a 4" lift if I remember right from his build thread. It also has a 3" body lift. So I'm pretty sure it'll be just as tall, if not taller.
Okay, ill look into the sas more and not clog up this thread because i want to utilize coils up front instead of leafs for more flex. As for the rear, my truck has quad shocks in the rear, those will be used too? Ill take some pics tomorrow morning.
SAS and coils.... Sounds expensive.
Just get a rsk kit for the front, and stick with leafs.
IMO, just go to a pick and pull, find a 350 or 450 take everything the axles are connected to.

I jus said 3 posts ago im getting a f350 friday, 1990 f350 7.3 std cab long bad. There has to be threads on it and how its done, im positive people do a SAS w/ coils
If you want to keep coils, get a Dana 44 from a 78 or 79 F150 or Bronco. You'll have to fabricate some stuff, but you can keep your coils without destroying a Dana 60..
SCRebel has an SAS done to his truck with the set up I just described, and will probably know more specifics about that than I do. I have a D44HD from a 78 F250, since I have leaf springs.
