The parts store says I have a pcv valve on this explorer but I can not locate it can you help? It is a 1999 FORD EXPLORER SOHC 4.0L fuel injected they show a fram FV375 PCV but like I said I can not locate on engine and only have a Chiltons manual which does not show one in it so am kinda lost?
Under the hood you should find an Emissions sticker it has the location of the Pcv Valve, If not any oil change place can locate the Pcv valve for ya. They should not charge you for this, You can also look on the valve cover for the valve itself, there will be a hose going into the valve cover.

In most auto stores they should have a Parts manual to look through. Generally, they have the informaiton on how to read your VIN number. This info should be on the factory sticker on the driver side door and at the base of the front windshield.
