After seeing a few threads talking about leveling or lift kits, i go to thinking. Do they make any lift kits that keep the factory rake or do they all raise the front a little bit more to make the fender gaps even.
I like the look of the tuff country 3" lift, but it looks like it levels out the truck. I don't like the idea of having a load in the bed of the truck and having the front end then sitting higher than the rear.
100% agreement! I hate seeing a vehicle sagging, especially with a trailer in tow.
I don't know if there are any kits out there like you want, it would be nice. What I did was to put a 1" Daystar spacer in front, then adjusted my airbags to keep the factory rake. Good idea? I don't know, but it seems to work. If you were to go that route, I don't know if you could pump up the bags that far. I haven't tried.
When my truck was new, I measured the heights of the wheel openings front and back. Mine were 1.5" different, so I bought the 1.5" spacers which gave the front some added lift, but still kept a little rake. Has a much nicer look to me, and an added plus was that, after readjusting the headlights and having them not shining downward as much, they light up the roadway better.
