Time to remove some chrome

Hey People,

So I would like to remove a lot of the chrome on my truck.

Now I would like to get just Tuxedo black bumpers. Does anyone know the part # for the primed KR bumpers?

Also on the grill. I have found the Primed grill surround. Does anyone know the part number for the Primed Center bars?

Thanx as always

If I were you, I'd look towards powder coating the bumpers. If they can match the colour close enough anyway. Powder coat is very strong and I'm sure they can just sandblast the bumpers then powder them. Cost me only a couple hundred dollars when I had mine done on my old truck.

Thread jack: Chrome is easy to clean...use a dryer sheet. Get the chrome wet, rub with dryer sheet, rinse off residue. Chrome is clean

This is what I've done in the past with chrome pieces I didnt want.. If done right it looks sharp, and it's significantly cheaper.

Thanx as always guys,

Got a reply from a ford store.

grill surround is BC3Z8200BPTM
the middle part does not come primed it only comes chrome on your style grill
front bumper paint to match BC3Z17757CPTM
rear bumper paint to match 9C3Z17906CPTM

Ive got a good friend who is a autobody mechanic so hes gonna give the chrome bars a go.

Oh and SavageNFS .. I will thread jack you someday somewhere

I just thinking of the cost, if he giving it a way you could have it sandblasted and then painted. If it didn't workout to your satisfaction you would still have your original bumper.

I'm in truck country so I wont have a hard time flipping these for a few hundred bucks each.
