What's up.. you're going the wrong way.
The heads are the same so the valve covers will bolt on, and the exhaust manifolds will work but the exhaust may need to be modified since the block is physically smaller. The accessory brackets may also swap just depends how old these engines are.. the newer serpentine brackets fit both motors, and the water pumps are the same assuming you're using the same belt system on both. But that's about it the intake, distributor, timing cover and oil pan are unique to the 351 so you'll need 302 versions of those.

The exhaust manifolds are different. They bolt up the same, but the 351w has a little bit different angle on the outlet. And of course the y-pipe for the exhaust is different. The throttle cable is different.

Woops, the car engine has a front sump oil pan correct? If so, you are going to need a rear sump pan, oil pump pickup extension, and main cap stud that supports the extension. If you find a rear sump pan without a dipstick, then make sure you can mount a rear dipstick in your block on the driver's side. If not, then try to find a rear sump pan with the dipstick mounted in the pan.

Have you checked out the numbers on the extension tube between a 351w and a 302? The reason I am wondering, is the 351w uses larger main bearings than the 302, so that may require a different pickup extension. But I am guessing, I have never looked it up.
