Thank you for adding me to the AZ chapter. I look foward to meeting up at some rides and gatherings as soon as my project is done. Hopefully by spring.
No, Thank You! we could use more members who are willing to share there projects with us. spring time will bring Good Guys in march, and in June there is
the F100 Westren Nationals in yorba linda Cali! Great show put on by Ed @ Pickups Ltd. you can bet money i will be there with a truck....(this time) lol
Not really in Florence. About 15 mile north west but it's the closest town so that's our mailing address. I like where I'm at, nice and quite and a big change from living 8 miles outside of NYC. Love the warm dry weather and no more snow to shovel or lawn to mow. Don't get into town that often except for the hardware store and a beer or 3 at the River Bottom on 79. Used go to Box Canyon for shooting and 4 wheeling before my accident, now we just go shooting. We ride our bikes when ever we can and I work on my truck as much as possible. It's nice not to live in a communist state any more.
Box Canyon, is that where they go for the rock crawling? i have seen lot's of trailers headed up there. have you been to the Chaparral Restaurant south of town on 79?
Box is one of the places people go rock crawling. Pretty extreme and very impressive. I've been passed the Chapperal but, never had time to stop. Usually heading to Tucson or Catalina to visit friends.
Keep meaning to stop there, hear good things.
Thanks on the bike. Still have to tear it back down and clean up the frame for powder coat and needs a better front end. Maybe after the truck. Getting away from wrenching on bikes for awhile. Was working on everyones but, my own. Just hope the same doesn't happen with the truck. Already helping a friend with a 65 Nova but atleast he helps me with my projects too.
Bill, Does that mean that your truck will be done and ready for the F100 Western Nationals. Hip, Hip, Hurray. We will be going again this year, can't wait.
