Forgive me ya'll I ain't sure what this is called but I was thinking of removeing the bottom black plastic that goes infront of the front tires in the front of the truck where you put your front tag...If i could post attachments i would show ya'll what i am talking about....I figure it's a splash guard for your engine and tires...it's held by a few screws ..would it be ok if i took it off???
or should i leave it on becasue it protects..because if it is there for looks...i am takeing it off i don't care for it
a better ideal of what i am talking about is your looking at the front of a F-150 1997 Lariat, you see the hood, then ford logo in grill, then you got the chrome, then the black front plastic under the chrome.......
so can i take it off?
I got a friend with a 97 4x4 he removed his. now he just has 2 tow hooks sticking out... it serves no performance value, looks, and bringing some air up into the engine bay...i think.....it also holds the fog lights.?
