It will be done for the next season. Crap at the local track I was a partner in running made it so I just didn't have the ambition to fix it. Now that I'm going back just as a racer, it will be done. Might see me down there early when your season starts to do some shakedown runs

lol aight, I plan on swapping tran's this winter, and junking the Hub's and replacing either with a brand new set or going with flanges. also looking into taking a little weight out of the truck, Id love to fix up my brake's like you did, but not sure if i will or not. but getting away from the steel wheel's and all. Id love to come across some uncut 38 skinny's for my front end aswell. BTW The Doo open's up Feb 2nd. guess i better get to work gotta lot of stuff to get done between the Ford and the Jeep, BTW You aint got a extra driver side door for 73-79 do you?

A couple of people I know that run the bigger classes got rid of the hubs this past year. One actually lost the driver side before he even got in the pit and said "eff" it. Ended up with his tire burried up under the guardrail 3/4ths the way through. Pretty funny seeing the image of a fat girl silhouette with "Super Heavy Duty" in place of the hubs.

We actually saw something about The Doo last night. It's about 3-4 hours away from me but we were thinking of going. How is that place?

I'm real slack on decent 79 body parts. Kris may be your best bet for the door. Don't know if I'll be done by Feb, but will start work in January on doing what I need to get done. Should have everything done by mid March though.

I still don't understand why you keep breaking hubs unless you are using old ones you found somewhere. I swapped on a set of Superwinch Premium hubs 4 years ago and haven't had a problem with them. You need to get the premiums with the metal internals. The standard Warn and similar have plastic part that break.

I shot the plastic "lock in part" outta 2 set's this last set was a used set but it broke a couple of the locking teeth of them.

no it's well past my hub's deep, I stuck it the first pass and didnt pull the cable so had to get out to hook it up. needless to say it was up over my hitch and it was digging in the mud and when i opened the door it was pushing mud. I went over knee deep in it pretty close to hit deep and i stand about 6'2

Finally got the truck back, and man does it sound and act like a whole different beast. Hopefully I'll get time this weekend to post a video or something up, and I got the info for the cam they put in. It's still all greek to me
