hey guys and gals my buddy has a 96 f150 with a five liter and his harmonic balancer has a four prong reluctor ring his is spun so went to the local parts houses and none have the reluctor do you guys know where and how to get the right one
Those balancers can be rare as hen's teeth. I am not aware if you can mount/press the reluctor onto an earlier version balancer. This may be a Ford only part unfortunately.
Yeah. It's a 96 5.0 F-150/bronco only balancer. Nothing else will work.
The aluminum ring is not really needed for the truck to run but it WILL set a code.
How does he know it spun?
