That 54 belongs to a friend of mine, Paul, that used to hang out in this chapter. It is a cool truck, he replaced the Flattie with a good 292 and it has an electric over hydraulic hoist.
I'd have a peek at it! If it fits better it would save me modifying the GM bench.
What year of GM Bench seat do you have? I pulled one from an early to mid 90s regular cab GM truck and it fits great. Didnt cost much at the wrecker either.
Its an older bench, probably similar age to the truck, still has springs and made out of burlap and wire. It's just that it is too wide at the top where the cab narrows and it won't flip forward.
The one I have is in a truck that I havent hauled to my place out here yet, but if you havent found a seat by the time I yank that truck up here, its yours if itll work.
