Edelbrock 1403 HardStart

I have an Edelbrock 1403 Carb on 300 l6, has been working great but now has become hard to start after sitting for few minutes. Pumping throttle will not work. Just continuous cranking with no throttle and it eventually starts. When it does start you can shut it off and it will start asap. Looking for ideas..thanks in advance.

Pumping the throttle is going to make it flood out, and even harder to start. Any chance your fuel is siphoning back and the pump has to re-prime? Are cold starts with the choke fine?

Cold starts are good with choke set.

I am thinking a loss of fuel, what can be the cause of fuel loss?

So all is well now, and there wasn't a fuel problem after all?
