Hey, anyone here ever put Christmas lights on their truck? I think I might do it, looking for ideas. Probably just put some on the running boards, maybe front grille.

Mornin' Joel,
I haven't ever put any on my trucks, but I have seen some that have. There is a guy here at home that puts antlers with lights on the hood of his car during Christmas.
Are you planning on using a small 110 volt converter off the batteries or the 150 watt circuit in our trucks? If you used LED's, I bet you could run quite a few off the truck converter.
My ex neighbour who has the blue bomber gasser with twin straight piped 6" stacks.......... you may remember actually put a real fully lit up christmass tree in the back of his truck last year. It was actually pretty cool.
Ha, forgot about that gem of a post Darren. Very funny.
I have an inverter or I could use the factory one, don't know what I'm gonna do yet. I can't do much, I've got about 2500 miles scheduled between now and the 25th so it's going to need to be small and sturdy. Probably wont do much of anything, depends on my mood in the next 24 hours.......
I just got home from taking my family out for dinner to celebrate my daughters' 32nd birthday. Kids and grandkids everywhere. Kinda like an ant hill.
Anyway, while sitting there looking out the window watching it snow, a Chevy Avalanche drives by with Christmas lights all over the little headache rack thingy. Looked kinda cool actually.
