Altitude Compensation
I just trailered my truck from Maryland (sea level) to Albuquerque, NM (6000 ft). Since I arrived I have experienced intermittent engine issues such as off idle stumble, erratic shifting and worst of all complete engine shutdown. Cycling the ignition switch On-Off-On always clears the problem temporarily. Check engine light never comes on, and there are no codes to down load. Older ford trucks had a barometric altitute sensor that could be replaced with a high altitude variant. Do the 1995 with EFI have this or does the computer need to be tweaked?
