I have a 250 10.25 srw and sheared the yoke today leaving the line racing a ricer...... my question is I have a drw axle laying around can I take the yoke off and use it? Also how hard is it going to be to get it off the shaft? and is it a just take it off put new one on type of thing? thanks

as long as both have the same U-Joint holder then they will be the same. Some 10.25's had the U-bolts with nuts and some had the nice thick straps with bolts.
Depending on how much is left of the old yoke you should be able to heat the nut and pull it off. I have personally never done a 10.25 but have done a few 8.8's and old Dana's under chebby's but the heat/cool pound and pull method worked.
I'll be watching this thread. I need to change the rear pinion seal (it's been changed before) and am curious how the nut is supposed to be re-torqued.
