Accel stuff is always junk, don't ever use it. Their "performance" coils usually read around 1.3 ohms across the primaries, which is over twice what any regular OEM replacement runs, so they'll put out less than half of the voltage and current with over 250% of the price. The Super Stock wires are just as big of a joke as they look, they break if you look at them funny.
I have FRPP's 9mm wires, which are pretty good, but they can't handle an MSD ignition system and a .055" gap without arcing. I've got 1/4 mile of electrical tape on mine in several places, just to keep the lightning tamed.
I went to the NHRA Southern Nationals this spring, and saw that Mark Pawuk's 6.7-second Pontiac is using MSD Super Conductors, so I'm going to have to give those a try, because Lord knows, if they can handle an MSD Digital-7 box and an E-core coil, they can handle a 6A and a Blaster 2 at any gap.
Also, try to go with a copper cap whenever possible, they will last much longer than the regular zinc plated caps, especially if you have a hi-po ignition system.
I've also found that Motorcraft spark plugs are just about indestructable, but I like the performance of NGK's the best of anything out there. $1.29 a piece at any Advance Auto Parts. TK
