Fuel sending unit
I recently purchased a new sending unit for my rear tank (1973 Ranger XLT Camper Special). The old unit's wiper had broken off the potentiometer and was no longer working. The new unit I purchased is a Spectra Industries FG73A, but looks different than the original unit. The original unit has a cylindrical float and a 3/8" tube, while the FG73A has a flat float which spins on the arm and a 5/16" tube. I was wondering if anyone has used this style FG73A and if it worked OK for them.
