My brother lives in upstate Ny near lake George. That is where the car came from.Storytown USA. He sent it to me to give me something to work on,he wouldn't tell me what he was sending. So a truck shows up with a crate 10 ftx5 ft x 3 ft. and this was inside,So far I have installed a 11hp motor ,rebuilt the rear end, moved the front fire wall 6 inches to give me more leg room, changed from center steer to left hand drive.and replaced the floor boards. I did send the guy an email to day and have not had a reply.I also got in touch with the company that made it back in 1962 they have not sold anything for the car since 1989,but will send copy's of build sheets and other paper work to me.They said most of the cars they made looked like t's and the sport cars are rare.It is a corvair they say.
That's a pretty cool brother!.....or he's an evil genius....lol
He knew how to keep you tied of for years to come......(just kidding)
Pretty neat history. Thats cool that you are going to be getting the build sheet, there should be some kind of clue there. Who knows, maybe the website guy will be of somehelp too.
If you want, shoot me an email with the pics and I'll figure out how to get them posted in this thread
