Hi Ger...the wake/funeral/burial was yesterday...Thursday. One hundred eighty six folks took time out of their busy days to pay their respects. There were approximately 100 who stayed for a beautiful service at the funeral home presided over by a deacon...good friend of my father. There was a US Navy Honor Guard at the cemetery...along with a group from a local VFW Post. Twenty one gun salute...taps...and...the colors were presented to me by the US Navy Honor Guard. Something I will always treasure!!!
Then...off to a local restaurant for a buffet...a few drinks...and...the sharing of many good memories!!!

Ken,
I have been absent from the boards for a while and just heard of this late Friday evening.
I am sorry to hear of Pete passing on. Terra and My condolences to you and your family. Pete will be missed.
I have met Pete a couple times and it was always a pleasure. It was good to see how close you and your dad were/are.
As always if there is anything I can help you with, just ask.
