swaping beds
hi i have a 96 f150 supercab shortbed which is a big peice of rust & i was wondering if anybody knows or has seen or heard of anybody putting a 97--03 flairside shortbed on a 96 truck ????????????

At my age I need a sleep number bed.
You can bolt anything on as long as the wheel wells line up reasonably and the gas fill works out.
How it looks is another matter.
I once had an old 53 GMC with a utility body. Replaced it with a bed that said Studebaker on the tail gate. Worked for me.
A lot of times people will just put a flat bed on out of planks and a frame of sorts.
