Well, got the SD wiring ends on today. I didn't get to work on it too much, but that is done.

Glenn, I took a few pics for you, and wrote all my colors down so you have a little more of a guide.

First, I just spread out the wiring so its easy to work on.

I stripped all the ends of the new SD wiring and slid some heat shrink over each wire.

I removed one old plug at a time, and soldered, heat shrank and electrical taped each wire to its mate.

Then after doing the other plug on that side, I put the injector and ground wires inside the foil and other metal strand thingy.

I then put those wires in one loom, and the gp wires in the other loom.

I did the other side the same way, and then hard wired my ipr wires after removing the plug in that goes on the fuel filter housing

OK, Glenn, here is how my wiring matched up. Might help.
Passenger side
new plug is on the left, old wiring on the right
By saying back injector, 3rd injector, I'm assuming the first injector wire on the plug goes to the front injector, etc.

4 outside brown wires to 4 brown gp wires.
blue - white/red stripe back injector #7
brown/yellow stripe - white/black stripe 3rd injector #5
black/yellow stripe - 2 orange wires ground
red/green stripe - white or lt.tan?hard to tell 2nd injector #3
red - brown/white stripe front injector #1

Drivers side
outside 4 brown wires to 4 big yellow wires gp's
blue - smaller yellowish front injector #2
brown/yellow stripe - brown/blue stripe second injector #4
black/yellow stripe - 2 orange/white stripe grounds
red/green stripe - forgot to write down #6,oops only wire left
red - bluish back injector #8

Looks good Darin. I thought about replacing all the loom on mine with red loom. How much cheaper is the SD UVCH than the OBS. Is it worth doing for the cost of replacement if they go bad later on?

I came up with over 120 bucks cheaper for the SD uvch harness setup compared to the obs. That is for the ford parts. It's not much more work, just takes a little more figuring out. Much easier with the harness laying on the hood of that car though instead of me laying under the hood of the truck! The gp wires and pins are bigger too which is good.

Red loom would be different for sure. Probably look ok. I'm happy with new black loom. I've got some more to do on the harness. Remove the ebpv plug and wires, remove the fuel bowl wiring, inspect the rest of the harness, and put new loom on. Actually quite a bit left to do on it...

I've been wanting to get oem stuff for mine ever since I put the Napa ones on. I think I'll do the SD ones and save some money. If the pins and connectors are bigger, they should last a lot longer too.

Same with me. I'd been wanting to do the oem ones since I put the dormans on. I had a lot of burnt gp connections, and a couple "iffy" looking injector connections. The dormans were only 3 years, 15k miles old

Todd, it's the triple disc, billet eagle converter. It's the best one they have.

No problem Glenn. I figured since I was already doing it I may as well take some notes to help you out.

Couldn't get him Glenn.

That's what I thought Darin. I better start seriously thinking about a trans with Mikes injectors coming soon. I'm thinking that TQ, Racer VB and all new internals. My cousin can build it for me. I can't afford a full on build, but hopefully that will last quite a while.

That's basically what I'm doing Todd. I'm gonna use my racer vb and new tc, and have a good heavy duty build. Flush my radiator/cooler and trucool. I can't afford the 5k either.

As you probably saw, my harness is laying on the floor. This is good timing for me. Thanks for trying to get Darin for me, maybe I'll go outside and flag someone down. Get him or her to sign up and then give Darin a rep, LOL
