Compression question
How do I boost my compression in my 351m it has I think 8:1 and I'm looking for about 9:1 or 9.5:1 how do I do this without changing the pistons? I was thinking maby smaller cc heads than the stockers that are on it. Thanks for any information

You really can't get there from here. The only smaller heads are huge ported 4V with too little volume. Milling the heads might help a little but pistons are your only viable chance of getting there.

Compression question
You can get a set of "Aussie" 2 bbl cleveland heads that have the smaller quench chambers. They run about $350 used. You need to figure on a valve job and possibly new seats, guides, valves, springs,etc to add to the cost. There's usually a set or two on ebay every week.
