Good day Nova Scotia, Steve, John, bernette, Riich, seventy and all who lurk here.
It`s like that here daily John, some what better than the -30`s we had last weekend.
$2.00 for a loaf of bread, $6.00 a gallon for milk, $3.50 gas there is getting up there Rich. The price of our gas dropped to $.75 a litre which is the lowest it`s been for quite a few yrs. It only cost $70 to fill my F150 yesterday and I can remember spending over $130. I certainly wouldn`t like rain it`s cold out.
How are things in your neck of the woods in Ont John?

Hello Morris, it's warmed up considerably here. It was -18° this morning which is a good 10° warmer than it has been the last couple weeks. I heard on the radio this morning that the price of gas in Dryden dropped down to $95.9. I re-wired the cruise control in my panel today but want know for sure if it will work properly until spring when the roads are clean...

I filled up yesterday at $.75 and now it`s dropped a little bit more, at least we`re getting a bit of a break at the pumps as the economy slips down even further.

It`s been dropping here for a while now but not overly quickly.

My luck it will go back up when it's time to start driving the panels again.

From just about everything I`ve heard I think it`ll stay down for a while and so will our economy.

Our economy won't get better as long as the liberals are in power, the people made a wrong move ousting the conservatives...

That`s quite a spread in gas prices, is that caused by trucking or?

I'm not sure Morris, I always thought our fuel came from the west and if that is true we should be getting a bigger break in prices than eastern Ontario. Dryden is usually the cheapest in our area and the price jumps higher as you travel to Thunder Bay.

Then I`m glad I live out west, it`s bad enough that our dollar is down so far but at least we`re getting a better break at the pumps.

I think Winnipeg is about $.20 or more cheaper than us. I don't even know what we pay at the pump here in town but can guarantee it's still over a dollar. I quit buying gas at the stations here in town about 15 years ago when an outfit from Dryden put in a card-lock system in and was $.08 cheaper than everyone else.
