My family years, and I mean years ago use to have one that color. Had the big square hood "Explorer" ornament. and the lower white strips.
Also dad had the dealer installed mid ship tank, with the in cab floor valve manual switch, and a big silver square for fill port cover, and those same hub caps.
Road tripped in it to Pensacola Florida, we had a big camper shell on it with a table/bench bed in the back. Me and sis rode in the back, like I said years ago.....

Yes! It was a great time last year. Isn't it usually in May? At least it should be warm if it's in June.
I got a new set of tires for the Chevelle today. I traded off those Outlaw II's. One wheel had a crack in it, so I don't think I did too bad. Especially since I got them for free.
I also looked at a deuce and a half today. The wheel base between the steer axle and the front drive axle is 131". The wheel base from Alice's steer axle to the drive axle is 133". ......Hmmmmm.

I have to chuckle. The guy I got my Chevelle tires off of yesterday dropped off his truck for me to work on this morning. Now, yesterday he told me another shop had it for weeks and never fixed the problem, but charged him over $300. Today he shows up at 0800. (he must not know I don't get moving that early) Anyway, he says he has a ride showing up to pick him up. His ride shows up in a van with "Ozarks Automotive" on the side. Hmmmm.

Good Morning Everybody!
I'll button up the '66 this morning, (did I really just say that?!) Then get on this injector problem. I should be able to bring the '50 Ford over (his, not mine) so I can get started on the frame chop. I still need to knock this sign out for my brother in law, too. It looks like it's gonna be a busy weekend.
