I don't know if I have one bad knee or two. My left knee is usually hurting... but if I am careful and take really good care of it and don't work it too hard, put that icy-hot ointment on it.... then it feels pretty good................ And that's when my right knee starts hurting. So, is that one bad knee or is it two?

 

Wait a minute. Dave, is it your left knee that hurts? Is this a giant coincidence or what?

Donna's left knee hurts, my left knee is trashed so are you going to tell me it's your left knee too?

 

Bruce, I guess the easiest way to share with you my "pains" is ... my left shoulder and arm DON'T HURT !!! But otherwise, both knees both feet, right shoulder, and right hip have had or currently require some sort of medical attention every month at a minimum !!! And the winter weather doubles down on these issues when the daily temps average less than 65* ... other than that I feel just fine .... except for my neck once in a while too !!!
When I say "I've been there done that" is a very true statement!!!
Gonna hit the sheets for now... need my long nap Dave

I got a great idea on what to make out of Monday .... "Tuesday A" then just have our regular Tuesday and so on ....

Bruce, now you understand why I end most of my posts with ... be safe or play nice ... or similar statements, that's because I always played hard and am now dealing with the results. You would think I would heed my own warnings ... but that's not how I roll !!! Sometimes I make a "bull in a china shop" look like a statue... You would think that some time in the last 67 yrs. I would have figured it out !!! The truth is there is no one to blame and I've always accepted responsibility for my actions... dumb or smart ... Later Y'all ... play nice !!! Dave

 

Monday is upon us once again. If we are lucky it will leave us soon, and we can get to enjoying two for Tuesday.

Bruce / Jim - Thanks for the compliments on the bike. I agree, the new paint looks bad ***. I think it came out awesome! Bruce, yup the job is coming along great. I'm still listed as part time, but I have full time hours (well, full time to them is 32 hours per week), so I'm not complaining. I'm also trying right now to get into UNLV. My application is being reviewed right now, so I should know in a couple of weeks if I'll make it into the Spring 2013 semester. I've been approved for financial aid, so that is great, now I just need to get into the school. LOL So, things will be crazy for me for a long while, but it will be a good kind of crazy.

Dave / Donna - You two need to be careful and take care of yourselves! Shoulders and knees are not to be taken lightly (neither are backs...I know that one from personal experience - as well as knees and shoulders). What am I going to do with you darn kids?!

I do hope you two feel better soon! And Dave - Quit taking your darn sling off, you can't heal if you keep moving it around and taking it off!

Mat, I have always been running around at full throttle ... I know I should backoff a bit, and I have somewhat but it's tough to do !!! I do take more naps now and then LOL !!!
I worry about Donna cuz she has kids to look after... and all I have to do is make it to physical therapy and Wal-Mart now and then LOL ... as soon as the shoulder comes back I'll be going to the gym 3X a week and not for them "OLD FOLKS" classes either !!! Dave

 

Thank you sir. I hear ya about running around like a nut. I do the same a lot of times. Sometimes I need to slow down and take a breather. I just hope you two get better is all.
