C 600 Vin

Hello,

Could someone help me decode a Vin on a C600 Trying to figure what year we have here

C61EVT28103

i won't venture any guesses, Bill aka 'numberdummy' will give youy the straight skinny when he logs in next. the last five digits tells the year, but how ??? i don't know! i have a 1973 C700 the last digits in my vin is 15579.

Welcome to FTE

C61 = C600 (gas).

E = 361 2V or 4V FT Engine.

V = Kentucky Truck Aseembly Plant.

T28103 = 1975.

All 1957/86 C Series Tilt Cabs look pretty much the same. All have single headlamps except 1958/60's that have dual headlamps.
