everyone does there part. D-mon the MPG cruising about 60 holds solid about 19MPG, but when im headding south (80MPH) it is about 15MPG or so. and as far the the tailgate assist, it is a pretty nice little add-on, but i would highly reccomend getting the little perch (that the arm itself going on) on the tailgate tac-welded on. my bent a little due to not so great hardwear they give you with it, but can't win them all i guess
