Haha yeah. Well it's not that nice. I don't really care about it. Just thought it was weird. Took me about 6 months just to find my CCLB with a 5 speed !

I looked for over a year before I found mine, the F250 Crew cab isn't hard to find, but a diesel 5 speed, I think mine was only the 2nd one I saw in that year of looking.
Yeah if he means the 'rare' part being the 5 speed I guess...
All F250 CC were short bed.
All F350 CC were long bed. So I hope he didnt mean the CCSB was 'rare'
^^^^ True, but there were a LOT more F350 CCLBs built than F250 CCSBs. And I've read that logging crews in the PNW chewed up and spit out a lot of the CCSBs. By now, they're pretty close to "rare".
I could live with the tranny and the dents, I don't see a "fade" anywhere, just a poor-man's two-tone. It's the cheap grille, fake and hideous color "HIDs", and the pimpiferous rims that are the real minuses. At least it has some mods that people could really use (exhaust, intake, Dana 60).
But yeah, bad pics; camera and truck should at least be in the same ZIP code. And that face in pic 4 is... er....
And if you were, you'd drive your wifes Toyota to park up front. Personally I like the back of the lot, more space between rigs and don't have to worry about some kid flying open the rear door into yours. + they tow nicer
I also looked for a long time for mine (6 years). Used auto trader and had it setup to email me when someone would list the truck i was looking for. White 97 cclb 4x4 5spd xlt in great shape.
That's cuz everyone wanted a straight axle D60! and a long bed. lol
If you are purchasing a CC you clearly arent worried about turning radius or parking lots.
I thnk that's why the CCSBs were popular with logging crews. Didn't need much bed space, just enough for chainsaws, safety gear, etc., but needed to handle tight narrow logging roads.
But yeah, even with our ECLB, we like to hit the back of the lot, usu. two spaces in-line (they're making the spaces shallower and shallower, thanks to the prevalence of thse little zit-cars), pref. next to a pole or island (one less vehicle parked next to us, less chance getting hit by some idiot cutting crossways thru the lot). Walking is good for us....
