Hid Problems.... Any Ideas?
So I just put a set of Digital HIDs in my 2000 crewcab dually. I bought the 6000k 55 watters. I have the 8000k 55 watters in my 2005 f250 and was real pleased with them, so I decided "Big Blue" needed a set as well. I got the bulbs in there wired it up correctly with the relay (stupid plug and play crap), got my self all worked up and excited, rubbed my hands together and hit the switch. call me stupid, but it never crossed my mind about the factory halogen reflectors being an issue.....but what light scatter! It's like I'm driving a train or putting on my landing lights on the runway. Not the real crisp clean light like my 05 has. I'm really disappointed. It's BRIGHT, don't get me wrong, but its everywhere, and I feel like a bad man for blinding the *&?% out of everyone. Any ideas on a cheap fix? Anyone have a stock set of 05 projector housings they want to sell? Any other ideas? I'm not too keen on baking my lights and popping the covers off and putting in projectors, and I'm not really big on the whole aftermarket thing. Thanks beforehand, guys
