My truck has a good battery, connections and relay. When I hit the key, only a click. What's wrong?? Thanks in advance.

 

Hi Pilgrim,

Where did you hear the click? It could be the solenoid on your fender wall or the starter itself. Try taking an insulated screw driver and shorting out the solenoid on the fender wall. If you just get a click then it's probably the starter. If that is the case, swat the starter good with a small hammer and try the key again. Changing either part is less than a 20 minute job.
