Did the chip fix it???
I installed a Superchip on Tuesday evening. In the two days driving it I have noticed a couple things since.
1. My starting when warm problems seems to be gone. It starts much better now when it is warm.
2. The temperature doesn't seem to get as hot now. It would never get overly warm before, but the gauge does seem to read lower than before the chip.
Would the chip solve these problems, and if so, would it be because of the timing?

If your vehicle was running overly rich before the chip can help it run cooler simply because the cats aren't getting too hot. Also, the computer relearns its idle and baseline timing, shifting, etc., after resetting the computer so this can contribute to it as well.
