Motor blew up......
Hey yall i have a 88 351w, my girl was driving it and she got a an oil change at an 20 min oil place and they didnt put the the oil pan bolt in good enough,and it rattled out and a few miles later motor trashed.if anyone lives in florida and want to buy it make an ofer and its yours . Not looking for a lot of money but i need to get a new truck and im looking at a f250 quad cab so let me know if anyone is intrested......

If you call the shop immediately when this happens and be assertive enough, they will usually pick up the repair tab, which they should. I've been on the shop end of this sort of thing several times (I didn't do the work though

If the shop won't pay (and they should), make the girl pay. She should have been able to smell the oil coming out and shut down the engine immediately. Either that or you can just say "Oh, it's OK honey, I know it's not your fault" and still have a relationship with her.

Im trying to work somthing out with them but they r giving me a hard time. Hopefully they will fix it and i can just keep it for a woods truck but we will see how things work out, and for my girl she should pay for it but the money would be coming out of my pocket so so much for that. She isnt the sharpest tool in the shed
