That`s what makes it a perfect sleeper and Fairmonts have abit more room as a family car.

Definately not debating it wouldnt be a good sleeper. Its just not in the same class of a car as a stang, or a done up old truck. Not even close, therefore the price of 5000 isnt really relative to the 30kish type budget we were first referring to!

Sure if you wanna drive a crappy fairmont with a hot engine opposed to a nice classic mustang with a hot engine.

Not me, I like Fords in general more then most other makes, but I would never put a hot 306 in a crappy fairmont!
Those were terribly ugly cars.
I like my cars like I like my women, fast, fun ride, work well and hard, and to look purty!

Lets not kid ourselves though, not every car that ford made was nice, and when your talking early 80's not many cars at all were that great haha.

Not many cars in the 80`s-90`s float my boat either, Mustangs are one of the few exceptions.

For the most part yeah!
I do have a thing for older stuff as well, Model T's, A's, and most stuff from 50's ish down.
Then muscle cars. I know your just a ford guy, but when it comes to cars, I have a wish list of many muscle cars that arent in the ford flavour!
I got love to share around for the right rides
