starter solenoid

i came out to my 92 f150 with a 5.8 351w in it after school this afternoon, and she wouldnt turn over, me and my buddies tried everything to get it to start and we narrowed it down to the starter solenoid, we eventually got it to start and when i got it home, i shut it off and it started back up with no problem several times, so does anyone have an idea of how much a starter solenoid cost me?? i plan on putting a new one in asap just in case..thanks...

starter solenoid

The solenoid (on top of the starter) is probably ~$30 at a starter/alternator shop, but the relay (on the fender by the battery) is only ~$12 at most parts stores.
