6 liter tune up?

6 liter tune up?
maybe i just fail at the search function i have seen this mentioned before, whats the difference between this and say a normal tune up,
I did motorcraft plat plugs motorcraft wires and borgwarner cap rotor and wix fitlers

It involves hotter ignition components (except plugs, always stick with Motorcraft copper core) and a timing bump to 12.5-13.5*. I used Ford Racing wires, MSD Cap, Rotor and Coil. Than Motorcraft copper core spark plugs. Runs like a champ. Brought a little more life out of the engine.
