hard to start!!
is, when the truck is first started in the morning's it will start with
no problem, but after driving it for a while if you shut it off then
try to start again it won't fire, unless gas pedal is held to the floor.
i've replaced about every sensor on the engine, map, tps is used
but checks out ok. ignition module & pick-up coil are new, not sure if ais sensor is sticking internally or not; could this be the problem. also noticed a small pin hole in top of gas tank, is creating my problem? any info would be appreciated.

I had a simular issue. It started out like yours does now. I had to flood the engine by holding the gas petal down all the way just to start. Once running it seemed fine until next time. Eventuall it progressed to cold starts. In about 2-3 months it would not start at all.
Swapping engines won't help if you can't get it to run right.
it's from a '74. looks like a fairly easy swap, from what i can tell
looks like wiring harness & probably new mounts also.
was put in friends truck which was rolled over about 3x's.
didn't seem to hurt the engine, is there any specific parts i'll need
for this swap; thanks for info
