Testing TPS
so iv been having rough idle problems lately so i decided to test my TPS. While i was doing it i noticed that the black wire that gives signal was cut open and that one was reading .027 steady with no increase or decrease when opening or closing the throttle so then i thought it was probably bad. But i tested the power from the battery and it was getting 11.37 and the power from the computar was 5.2 so those were both fine....I just want a second opinion on it before i go and buy a new one.

I've seen links to other sites on these forums before, so I think its ok to give you this link and hopefully it will work.
If I understand your explaination correctly your tps is bad, or the black wire is. The testing and explination of the system on that site is fairly good and has other handy tests there as well.
