Burning Oil?
Got a 1999 F-150 4X4 Lariat that is a great old truck. It has about 120K on it and I'm having to add a quart of oil after about 2-3 thousand miles. Any suggestions, runs great and seems the milage is too low for rings or even valve stems, could be wrong. No real visible smoke and it runs great. No leaks, driveway is clean every morning. Appreciate any advice or suggestions, thanks

Okay, got a new twist to this question. Took the truck in for a gas tank strap recall and the mechanic noted on the inspection it was leaking oil from the head gaskets. Is that even possible without loss of performance and compression? Don't mind fixing it, however just wanted to know if this is a probability. Thanks in advance for the assistance
