Cannot get the front cross member off on the front clip (above intercooler). The passenger side comes up but the drivers side seems like its frozen or locked in, any tips??
I know you've already done it, but there is no reason to remove all that stuff to pull engine. I've done it both ways and I will never take all that off again... Not only does it add HOURS to the engine R&R - you have to evacuate and recharge the AC system.
The problem with the piece you are struggling with is the fenders are too close together. You probably ended up pushing them apart to get it out and will likely need to pull them together to get the bolt holes to line up when ya put it back together. A ratchet strap will help with pulling them together.
