was this wrecked?

While putting on my new running boards, I noticed the drivers side metal isn't straight like the passenger.

Passenger (notice I got 4 bolts in the center bracket)

Drivers, kind of hard to tell but the metal isn't straight, and I couldn't get that last bolt in because the hole behind it isnt flush with the running board bracket.

I would say no... It looks to be the original "primer" from Ford...

That doesn't look like something to worry about.
Could be a case where the PO drove over a curb/bump and hit it.
I've seen lots of vehicles with running boards that hit curbs as well.

I agree, looks like the previous owner may have turned a corner to much and ran up on a curb. As long as it isn't making any odd sounds if say it'd be fine.

Cool. Sounds good. No noises or anything, just saw it and it got my attention.
