Another Dana 60 question

I have finally found a dana 60 to put in my 49 F3, this will allow me to use F2 16" rims and have a better highway ratio. My question is, will the original style hubcap fit over the hub of the Dana? It seems to protrude a long way going by pictures. I don't have it yet so can't try it out. Anyone who has done or seen this conversion care to comment?

Comment only: The full floating hubs look masculine, define it as a truck, no need for hub caps. I guess it is what you're building, the look you're after.
FWIW, my 1973 F-250 Camper Special with the Dana 60 rear came with the locking rim 16" Wheels. The wheels have the deep dish Ford crest SS hub caps. The caps are deep.

Are the hubcaps "innies" or "outies?" 1973 F250 could have either.

Innies: So called because the hubcap snaps onto tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.

Outies: So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.

You cannot install an outie hubcap on an innie wheel and vice versa.
