Anyone from New Hampshire?
I am looking to relocate from Central Florida to New Hampshire in the next few months. Is there anyone on this forum from there? I have some questions about how vehicle registrations and inspections are handled with antique vehicles and how realistic it is to operate an old truck in the great white north. I'm thinking about trying to drive my '49 Mercury M-47 there, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to do 1500 miles in winter! Any help would be appreciated.

Ryan,
I moved from North Florida to Littleton, NH, in 1998. I don't know where in NH you're headed but I'm in the northern third of the state. It is not realistic to operate an old truck up here in the winter...not because of the ice and snow but because of all the salt used on the roads. Rust would eat your truck up in just a few years. I park mine from the end of October to the first of May just for that reason.
My Email is New_Hampshire_Yankee at Yahoo.com. Send me a note and I'll answer all your questions...
