What up? I have a 98 Eddie B. and i think one of the factory amps is blown but i don't know where it is. Its not the one for the sub but the other one. I have an Alpine deck but now all i get is static on the speakers no matter if the volume is up or down. What i need to know is where the amp is so i can bypass it with my own. thanx

I thought that was it but i didnt know how to open up the dash enough to see it clearly. It looks like a pain to get to. Any clue on how I can get to this easily?

The way I did it was to buy a aftermarket harness. It plugged into the OEM haness that led directly to the speakers. It had long enough wies on it to reach my new radio. This bypasses the factory amp. You can probably get the harness from crutchdield.com. I know you could pull the dash apart and do it for free, but the $20 for the harness sves you like 2 hours work or so.
