The 6.4 is very laggy compared to a 6.7, stock for stock.
chain= not yanked.
I've owned both and the driving experience is very close in my opinion. Sure there is a bit more turbo lag with the 6.4L engine, but for the most part they drive very similar.

Or am I just yanking your chain as well?
Hmm I think they drive very different.
Stock vs stock, feels like the 6.7 just has more get up n go.
Then again maybe my judgement is clouded by all the tuned diesels around

Of course it does, but then again it has an additional 50 HP. But, IMHO it's a much smaller difference in driving feel between the 6.4L and 6.7L than it is from 7.3L to 6.0L. Those two are night and day, but the latest two generations of Powerstroke trucks all feel powerful with a trailer.
My big thing with the 6.7L engine is the improved reliability that the majority of 6.7L owners are enjoying.

I could care less if you feel that I'm trying to yank your chain.
The 6.4 is laggy out of the hole, but the power is very similar to the 6.7, I don't recall saying the 6.4 has no turbo lag but that has nothing to do with power at 2500-3000rpm where they both make thier power.
I felt that mine should have been much weaker than a new 6.7 with the power difference and the fact that mine has 267,000 miles. It was not.

No biggie,
Theres no rule that says we have to agree.
Did I miss a signal, I thought we were talking about high miles. There's an 08 on ebay with 289,000 miles. Asking 13,000 dollars. Tail pipe is not stock but they don't mention deleted or not.

What i'm wondering, is if we'll see any 6.4's or 6.7's in the 500,000+ mile range in a few years.
