Drivetrain Improvements

I really like our '00 PSD CCLB, but damn it handles like a bit of a slug. Bilsteins, sway bar bushings, etc. already done. Still a bit sluggish, even with weight in the bed. Brakes feel very meh. Do the F-450s or F-550s have beefier springs, axles and sway bars than the F350? Anyone every swap out an axle/spring setup out of a 450 or 550 into your 350 or 250?

Also, is anyone running a Gear Vendors Over/Under in their trucks? How do you like it? What was the overall cost to install?

I added an extra leaf in the front end and switched to polyurethane bushings and she is nice and firm.

What are you trying to accomplish? Your thread says drivetrain improvements, but you are asking about axles and springs.

If you more clearly state your end result we can help you more.
