U.S trip

Hi everyone, we spent 3 weeks driving around in the U.S recently, very enjoyable, in a nutshell based in Houston TX ( uncle) drove to Long Island NY, across to Niagara Falls, filled two suitcases with parts for my '42 at Macs in Lockport NY then to visit Caterpillar in Peoria Illinois, then back to Houston , 4200 miles. We had a great time although 3 weeks was way too short.
The hood is bolted to the fenders with 8 1/4'' bolts a welt or something like that will be sandwiched between the hood and fenders on final assy.
Regards, Steve.

Sounds like a great trip. I know how excited I would be to spend 3 weeks touring Aussie land. Might be almost long enough to recover from the jet lag.

Really like the truck. Forgot to mention that. The most important thing.

Going back

Sounds like a great trip, I was in California back in July with the missus, we stayed for just over three weeks and already are planning our return trip for next year.. Loved it, think Im already making a parts list!
I just wish you guys would drive on the right side of the road!
Ive been working steady on my pickup with all the parts I bought while there, so far its been real easy and a pleasure!
