Jackin' It Up!!!!!
I want to put a lift on my 1985 B2 but im havin trouble picking what kind of lift to put on it. I'm going to be putting 31 inch tires on 8 inch rims. I'm thinking body lift because it's cheap, but im also thinking of a suspension lift because it seems to be the right way to go. Price isn't really a concern because I'm replacing my shocks all the way around also, so why not go the rest of the way. Any suggestions as to the best way to go?

A 2 inch body lift will only be good enough for about 30s if you really go off-road. A 3 inch body lift causes too many problems, especially if you have an automatic. I went with teh 2" from James Duff and it was okay. I would have wished the bushings were wider.

James Duff or SkyJacker seem to be the best lifts out there for B2s... one of my B2s has the Skyjacker 6" class II (comes with new radius arms and new rear leafs) and I can comfortably run 33x12.5s.

i have an 86 bronco 2 and want to get a small lift without much hassle.....bigger tires too ...but i want to ride on the highway without much resistance from the tires anyone have suggestions?? on lift height...i was thinkin 2" body...and tires 30??
