Turbo surge?

Turbo surge?
installed my chip today and when I did I had the red line plugged. I started getting crazy turbo surge on my 100 and 140 tune. So I decided to hook the red line back up. It is not surging like it was but still getting it occasionally. This this common or is there a turbo issue?

Mine would surge when towing, even before tuner install (stock except 6637 and muffler). No problem on last trip, WW seems to cure it. Maybe a band aid, but a lot cheaper than ported housings, etc.. You might consider gauges soon, keep track of things.

i have gauges going in this weekend. i havnt had a chance to do it this week. i get out at 4 and its dark by 5 and i dont have a garage to work in. so they will go in sat. or sun.
