Smoking tailights?
My headlight covers just came in from lmc and I have decided to smoke out my tailights..but i have a few questions before doing so
Do i have to cover up the reverse light, so that way i wont get pulled over or anything? Or can i spray over them?
And I was wondering if it was legal to also smoke out all my other lights?
Like my front turn signals and my front and rear side markers?

There are so many people out here with those smoked out tail light lenses. You can't see them for sh**. They look cool in a show or what not. They arent cool on the road. Save yourself from getting rear ended and leave them stock.

Bad idea, legal or not, I cuss the idiots that black out there tail lights great way to get rear ended. Might as well 'blue dot" them while you are at it......
A smarter idea is to LED them tail lights and make youself seen.

Definitely isnt legal to smoke them but does look good. If you are going to do it I would tape off the reverse light. I did the tails on my blazer and I have those wet sanded down enough they are not that dark, more like a dark cherry, and they are easy to see with just the lights on and if a person cant see the brake lights they need to have their eyes checked. But the lights on these old turds arent that bright from the start but maybe with some led's installed it might help. Prolly nothing wrong with doing the side markers. Some color trucks look better with the red tails and orange turns. Post a pic if you do them. I thought about doing mine but since they are not smooth I wouldnt be able to wet sand them and just have to bank on spraying them light enough. Good luck

Thanks, but I plan on tinting them lightly, not go off board and go crazy black

The second link I posted says on there above the pic "this set includes (4) side markers!! 2 for the front and 2 for the back and it says they have smoked sets also. $32

Yes on the red/orange bulbs or maybe get some LED's here but I think there is a better place for dash light LED's also just can't find the link....
