If you say "it operates the EBPV" thats different than saying "it keeps the system from overpressuring because the EBPV is closed"

But i was saying that it seems it would be doing more than just that. which is pure speculation, not factual.
Yep, makes sense ... PCM controls the EBPV and the back pressure sensor tells the PCM how much back pressure is present so it, the PCM can make some good decisions. Interesting PID to watch is back pressure on those cold morning when valve is active.
I have the self-tuning Minotuar software and asked how to use the EBPV in tuning.
There simply is none.
If cleaning the tube helps it run better, I really have no clue why.
Go change your HPOP 1 time.
When you get to the HPOP gear bolt, you'll want to rip that POS tube and sensor right off the truck and throw it against the wall.
Mine's been gone for probably 12 years.
Rip it off, plug the hole in the manifold and just let the sensor plug rest somewhere.
